Minister

David began his ministry at Windsor United Church in October of 2017. Ordained in 1988, he has served congregations in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Bermuda. With his wife, Marion, by his side, they have been busy parents to four children and presently, four grandchildren. Asked his favourite secular quote, he will be quick to share the words from Winnie the Pooh, “Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved”. Asked, more often, to share his favourite scripture, David will answer, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind and love your neighbor as yourself". These words have inspired and challenged every aspect of his life. Learned at a young age, they have served as a road map through the many twists and turns of his personal life and ministry. He feels blessed to be a part of the Windsor United Church family where these words of Jesus are lived out daily.

Organist / Music Director

Steve has been organist and choir director at Windsor United Church since the summer of 2009. Following in the footsteps of his Grandmother, he is currently an organist, choir director and private music instructor. Steve lives in Hantsport, NS with his wife, Sharon, and 2 children. He also serves as organist at King's-Edgehill school in Windsor, NS.

With a strong background in music, Steve studied voice at the University of Toronto and has been singing and playing the piano since he was six years old. You may have seen him in local theatre productions or singing with a variety of choirs over the years. He also plays the guitar and trumpet and enjoys recording music and arranging songs.
